The devices are high performance and low power consumption 32-bit microcontrollers based around an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor core. The Cortex®-M0+ is a next-generation processor core which is tightly coupled with Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC), SysTick timer and advanced debug support.
The devices operate at a frequency of up to 60 MHz with a Flash accelerator to obtain maximum efficiency. It provides up to 128 KB of embedded Flash memory for code/data storage and up to 16 KB of embedded SRAM memory for system operation and application program usage.
It features a built-in fully integrated CAN (Controller Area Network) bus controller, incorporating a Bosch-licensed CAN module (C_CAN). Compliant with CAN 2.0 Part A and Part B specifications and ISO11898-1 standard, it has 32 message objects, which can be configured in FIFO mode by cascading multiple message objects. It supports standard or extended message transmission and provides functions such as receive filtering and message processing. The CAN bus controller can communicate with the MCU via an SPI interface.
A variety of peripherals, such as USB2.0 FS, PDMA, AES-128, Hardware Divider (DIV), SPI, I2S, USART, UART, SCI, I2C, GPTM, PWM, SCTM, BFTM, CRC-16/32, RTC, WDT, ADC, CMP, DAC, LCD and SW-DP (Serial Wire Debug Port), etc., are also implemented in the device series. Several power saving modes provide the flexibility for maximum optimization between wakeup latency and power consumption, which is an especially important consideration in low power applications.
These features enable this series of microcontrollers to simultaneously meet the requirements of fieldbus communication and display control. It can be widely used in industrial control equipment, smart meters, white goods applications, battery management systems (BMS), brushless DC motor (BLDC) controllers, charging equipment, energy management systems, building automation, automotive electronic auxiliary modules, and various consumer products requiring information display and network communication functions.
