NuMaker-X-M55M1 Development Board

NuMaker-X-M55M1 is a development platform built on the NuMicro® M55M1 series microcontroller. This development board integrates essential system components and a wide range of peripheral interfaces, helping accelerate system design, prototyping, and the evaluation of machine learning applications.

The NuMaker-X-M55M1 target board provides Arduino UNO-compatible headers, multiple GPIOs, and common communication interfaces such as I2C, UART, and SPI. The onboard Nu-Link2-Me debugger and programmer supports the SWD interface, enabling both online and offline programming, as well as in-chip debugging. It also outputs debug messages to a PC via a virtual COM port (VCOM). In addition, the built-in status LED displays programming status in real time. The Nu-Link2-Me module is detachable and can be used independently as a production programming tool.

M55M1 Series

The M55M1 series microcontrollers feature an Arm® Cortex®-M55 core running at up to 220 MHz, equipped with Arm® Helium™ DSP technology for enhanced digital signal processing capabilities and the Arm® Ethos™-U55 microNPU to accelerate machine learning inference at the edge. These MCUs integrate up to 2 MB of Flash Memory and 1.5 MB of SRAM, and support the HYPERBUS™ interface for external memory expansion. Operating at voltages from 1.7V to 3.6V and temperatures from -40°C to +105°C, the M55M1 series is well-suited for demanding industrial environments. They are ideal for compute-intensive embedded applications such as real-time signal processing, advanced machine learning, high-performance control systems, sensor fusion, smart factory automation, medical devices, and communication systems.
